Course Description
Today’s class is entitled The Essentials of Becoming a DJ, presented by producer and A&R, DJ Money.
After telling us a little bit about himself, DJ Money will give us an introduction to the fundamentals of mixing.
DJ Money
DJ Money, a D.C. native, has been a stadium-rocking, international-traveling DJ for over 10 years. Currently, working as Wale’s official DJ, he's performed in front of crowds from Lagos to Las Vegas, not to mention having performed at White House under the Obama Administration on three occasions. DJ Money has most recently joined the 93.9 WKYS Morning Show team as a co-host along with Angie Ange. Prior to that position, Money successfully tackled the roles of DJ, producer, creative director, songwriter and A&R. From rocking the crowd with rap phenomenon Mac Miller in Australia and Japan, to appearing alongside R&B superstar Raheem DeVaughn throughout South Africa, he has made his presence known. He made his mark on the DC music scene starting in the early 2000s. Since then, he's claimed the title of DC’s ‘Club King’ while simultaneously pursuing his love for creating his own original work. Through this passion, Money has been able to create music in the studio with the likes of Pharrell Williams, Fabolous, Asap Ferg, French Montana, Eric Bellinger, and, of course, Wale.
